Documentary film by RAI 5 about the Biennale 2025

The Biennale Architettura di Venezia takes place from May 10 through November 24 in the Giardini, the Arsenale, and across the historic center of Venice. The documentary film “Save the Date”, which aired on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 7:10 p.m., was broadcast on RAI 5 in Italy. The program featuring the Venice Biennale President Pietrangelo Buttafuoco and curator, architect, and engineer Carlo Ratti, explores the 19th International Architectural Exhibition titled “Intelligens; Natural, Artificial, Collective,” inviting collaboration between different types of intelligence to rethink the built environment. Intelligens, which contains the Latin word gens, also suggests the possibility of experimenting beyond the limits of AI and digital technologies.

Additionally, Canal Café features Elisabeth Diller and Marzia Chiesa, who won the Golden Lion for this project; FundamentalAI includes Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto; The Third Paradise Perspective showcases Paolo Naldini; Intelli-Famina-gens from the Global-South-America features Francesca Franchi; Circularity on the Edge curated by Kateryna Lopatuik; A Robot’s Dream presents Fabio Gramazio and Matthias Kohler; and La Fabbrica dell’Aria is associated with Antonio Giardi. Finally, an in-depth analysis is dedicatd to the review in the Venice Biennale Magazine entitled “The Shape of Chaos/The Shape of Chaos,” with editorial director Debora Rossi.
